The Neurosequential Model in Caregiving (NMC) applies core NM concepts for parents, caregivers, and non-clinical team members working in mental health, early childhood, juvenile justice, education and a host of other settings serving children, youth and families impacted by developmental adversity.

 

NMC Key Concepts: Basics is a six session training led by Michelle Maikoetter, Director of Special Projects at NMN and skilled clinician with 30 years of clinical experience. Participants can attend live or view the recorded sessions at their convenience.  Each live session will include a combination of virtual teaching, small group discussion and reflection. Participants may enroll as individuals or as a group.*

Session 1: October 17 - Orientation and Introduction

Session 5: November 14 - “Act Your Age!”

*Groups participating LIVE may have a maximum of 5 live participants (with their own log-on credentials). The organization will receive the recordings of each session for use with up to 25 participants.
